Our family (the Texas Guerrinis) lives in the vibrant and diverse Houston Heights neighborhood of Houston, Texas.  I, along with my wife Christi and our children Anna and Patrick, lease our home from Toasty, our Havanese.

I grew up in Wethersfield, Connecticut, a town along the Connecticut River, an area where most of my family still resides – my parents are natives are Hartford. Like a lot of New England natives, I miss the seasons, until it is February.

Christi grew up in the South, in Baton Rouge and Beaumont, which is where her family still resides; her parents came there by way of Muskogee.  Christi and I met at the University of Virginia, where we were both undergrads, and we have been together ever since; it will be 20 years in 2022!  Between the two of us, we have lived in Chicago, Boston, New York and a little bit in London before landing in Houston back in 2007.

Our kids Anna and Patrick are the joys of our lives, and have grown into great kids. Both kids are proud Scouts in Scouts BSA, which channels their love of the outdoors. Anna sings and plays piano; and Patrick, recently retired from his piano career, has moved along to the cello. Anna is a math and science wiz, with Patrick hot on his tail; he is the athlete of the family, with a love of baseball and recently lacrosse.

Toasty joined our family in 2019. He enjoys eating and barking.
